January 2014

Two men filed suit against the church alleging they had been abused from 1986 to 1988 on a church-owned pineapple farm.

March 2010

A former LDS church bishop Lon Kennard was charged with 43 felony counts of abuse and exploitation.

April 2001

The LDS church paid a $3 million settlement to Jeremiah Scott after a lawsuit was filed in 1998 against the church for a cover-up relating to abuse.
