2020

A report by USA Today® found that several LSU® officials had knowledge of assault allegations made against football players and either ignored the complaints or denied the victims' request for protection.

2019

Louisiana State University® finally expelled a star football player four months after his criminal conviction and ten months after he had already left the school.

2017

A tennis player at LSU® came forward against a university football player and accused him of abuse. However, the school did not take the necessary steps needed to investigate the case.

2016

A member of the diving team at LSU® told her coach that her friend was abused by a star football player. However, the university continued to allow the player to play on the school's football team.

2015

The U.S. Department of Education's Office for Civil Rights launched an investigation into LSU® in August after a woman claimed nobody informed her of her options when she came to campus police.
